Forbes Reports on Meritor Savings Bank v. FDIC Case
Dodd-Frank establishes an “Orderly Liquidation Authority” with members including the Treasury Secretary and heads of the financial agencies. If the authority so decides, the FDIC can seize institutions that pose a threat to the financial security of the U.S. Heady stuff for an agency that isn’t even part of the government.
